Leigh Spinners was originally set up as a cotton spinning mill just before the First World War, in 1913. As a company we therefore have a very long association with textiles, building our name on quality and sound good value.

In the 1960's we first started to manufacture tufted carpets and can now draw on nearly half a century of experience and expertise.

Our non-woven plant began during the 1980’s, when we added 'needle punch' carpets to our product range, while continuing with the development of tufted carpets.

In the years that followed we started to produce heavy contract needle punch floor coverings including sheet, tile and entrance matting, enabling us to offer a complete commercial solution for floor covering.

Lately we have moved into even more diverse markets, through product development by our non-woven division.

And, having done our groundwork well, we believe we’ll be able to take even greater strides forward in the future.
